All those years on the market allowed to expand the system meeting the emerging needs of the users. Raimondi Levelling System (R.L.S.) is a revolution in the tile setting. In addition to ensuring the proper leveling of tiles by eliminating ”lippage”, this system helps to speed up the tile setting process. R.L.S. is strongly recommended when installing flexible, large format, heavy or low-thickness tiles (3/6 mm; 1/8”- 1/4”). R.L.S. is made up of three elements: clips (spacers), wedges and pliers. Clips are available in various versions grouped in two large families: clips for tile thickness from 3 up to 12 mm (1/8” - 1/2”), clips for tile thickness from 12 up to 20 mm (1/2” - 3/4”). Clips for 3/12 mm thickness materials are available in 6 models, one to obtain a joint of 1 mm (1/32”), two for a joint of 1,5 mm (1/16”), two for joint of 3 mm (1/8”) and one for 4 mm (5/32”). Particularly important are the innovative “3D” clips: perfect to be used with any installation layout and suitable to be positioned both in the tiles intersections (both “+” and “T” layout) and on the tiles sides.
The wedge works for all the clips in the R.L.S. range and it is re-usable virtually forever. Special traction adjustable pliers are available in two different versions: for floor or for wall coverings. The use of the pliers is suggested for facilitating and speeding up the insertion of the wedge in the clips. It also optimizes the pressure on the tile. Pliers work with all clips models and with any tile thickness. R.L.S. is the easiest and quickest to remove leveling system: it is enough to kick the spacers to remove the unnecessary part from the installed floor. No tool required.
For tiles characterized by a particularly delicate top finishing, we designed a special platform to be used in combination with the RLS leveling system which avoid potential accidental damage during installation, thanks to its double function anti-chipping and anti-scratching .
